NEW in 2014 is our Lehman Farms IEA Team! The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) is an organization that was formed to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and high school students.
Lehman Farms is happy to support the IEA! Our team meets for weekly practice during the show season. Our middle and high school students work with trainers and each other to help reach their riding and horsemanship goals. In addition to learning new skills, riders have fun and form new friendships. For more information about the IEA team at Lehman Farms, contact Leslie Miller at (585) 721-1677.
The RIT Equestrian Team calls Lehman Farms its home stable for English riding. The Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) provides college riders of all skill levels the opportunity to compete individually and as part of a team. There are eight levels of Hunt Seat Riding available for IHSA competitors.
Lehman Farms offers private and group lessons for RIT Equestrian Team members, and is host to a number of IHSA Zone 2 horse shows during the regular show season. In order to participate as part of the RIT IHSA Show Team, riders must attend Rochester Institute of Technology as full time students, and must be members of the RIT Equestrian Club.
